With a focus on empowering businesses to optimize working capital and achieve success through effective inventory management, Red Oak offers innovative, flexible financing solutions designed to meet each customer’s unique needs.

Prior Investments*

Fully digital homeownership platform that offers mortgage, real estate, title, and homeowners insurance products across the U.S. Better announced a merger with Aurora Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: AURC) in May 2021.

Property and casualty focused insurance fronting carrier. The company issues insurance policies in partnership with managing general agents (“MGAs”) and global reinsurers.

Credit card issuer focusing on middle-class consumers, who are often inadequately served by the major bankcard issuers. The company utilizes leading-edge technology and proprietary and analytics-based marketing and underwriting. Fair Square was acquired by Ally Bank in December 2021.

Small business lending company. The company services small businesses as both a direct lender and a marketplace built with a network of lending partners.

Lender and investment manager specializing in direct lending to middle-market companies and the management of broadly syndicated loans. NewStar went public (Nasdaq: NEWS) in December 2006 and was subsequently acquired by First Eagle Investment Management in October 2017.

Run-off life and annuity business carved out from The Hartford (NYSE: HIG) that also offers in-force and new business solutions to provide insurers with capital flexibility and risk management efficiencies. Talcott was acquired by Sixth Street in June 2021.

Nationwide non-prime automobile lender serving the independent dealer market. United Auto Credit was acquired by Vroom (NASDAQ: VRM) in February 2022.

Credit-focused asset management firm that manages collateralized loan obligations (“CLOs”). WhiteStar serves as the staff and services provider for Trinitas CLOs. WhiteStar was acquired by Clearlake Capital in June 2020.
